I have been working in schools and tutoring for over 15 years. I have a masters degree in education and special education along with training in multisensory programs such as Orton-Gillingham – Wilson Fundations. I have assumed many roles as an educator; I worked as a Learning Specialist, Special Education Teacher and Coordinator in public and independent schools. I have been the Director of Learning Services and the Director of Teaching and Learning, coaching teachers in their instruction, intervention, and partnering with schools, parents and outside providers.

Living in Connecticut, Baltimore, Auckland, New York City, and San Francisco and while receiving education degrees along the way, I have experienced diverse environments for learning. This contributes to my wide lens when thinking about children and their education. Having collaborated with classroom teachers, intervention teachers, counselors, psychologists, administrators, and parents, I can partner and communicate well. My experience teaching in classrooms gives me a wide perspective when working with students or teachers. I can offer the most fitting and realistic recommendations to learning teams or families. In my free time, I love being with my family, traveling, skiing, and hiking.
